Applications are now open for the virtual 2021 CUSU Shadowing scheme and we would love to see as many Eddie’s students as possible signing up to give potential applicants the chance to spend a few days experiencing life at Cambridge.

We are delighted to offer all of our current undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship, building new businesses and innovation from this year's online Enterprise Tuesday series run by the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business
School.

As a subscribed college, you can register for any or all of these sessions for free - registrations are open now. The sessions are suitable for all entrepreneurs, across all sectors, whether you are just toying with the idea, or have a definite plan.

During online registration, select the 'Subscribed College £0' option. Please use your @cam email address. You will be asked to input our unique code (complimentary code) which is: EDM2020COLL.

Please note, the code must not be transferred to those outside the college. A register will be taken at each event and non-Eddies participants will be charged. The college code is for our undergraduate and postgraduate students only.

The Faculty of English with Churchill College run an annual John Kinsella/Tracy Ryan prize competition for a new poem or a new play.

Any undergraduate or postgraduate at the University of Cambridge is eligible to apply.

Please join us for the next (virtual) Salon, which will take place on 3rd November 6-7pm.

The aim of the Salon is to create an intellectually stimulating arena which highlights and engages with research carried out by Fellows and Research Associates of the College, gathering researchers in a social setting.

Speakers will be Dr Kristen MacAskill (Engineering), Dr Gemma Burgess (Land Economy), Dr Julian Hargreaves (Social Sciences), Fiona Costello (Law) and Dr Carlos Luque (Biology).

Mass on All Souls Day
November is the month when the Church traditionally remembers the Faithful Departed — those we have loved and lost. A simple (said) will be celebrated in the Chapel at 08:30 on November 2nd, All Souls Day; this Mass is being offered for those dear to us who have died, and for deceased College Alumni. College members are welcome to attend (numbers permitting) and the Mass will be live-streamed (and posted) on the College Facebook page.

November List
Every day in November, prayers will be offered in Chapel for those we have loved and lost — especially those in our November List which will be displayed in the Chapel. If you have names you wish to be on the list, please forward them to Fr Ed and they will be included. If you’d rather the names you send not be displayed, let him know as he will also have a ‘discreet list’.

Mass every Sunday at 10:30 — all Chapel events livestreamed on the College Facebook page.

Weekday Masses will begin shortly — at present, it's planned to start on Wednesdays at 12:00 or 12:30. If other days and times suit better, please let Fr Ed know.
