Registration is closed for this event
To celebrate the contribution of women to life at St Edmund's over the last 50 years.

The academic year 2019-2020 marks 50 years since St Edmund's first admitted women as students to the College.

On Saturday 14 March, we are holding a special evening to celebrate the contribution of women to the life of the College: past, present and future.

The event will commence at 17.30 with welcome refreshments in the Garden Room, after which there will be a panel discussion at 18.00 led by female members of the College.  There will be a drinks reception at 19:00 followed by formal dinner in the dining hall at 19:30.

Delivered in the style of the popular TEDx* programs,  our female panellists will give an insight into Life at St Edmund's from varying perspectives as an academic, a researcher, a student and as a member of staff.
The purpose of the event is to spark conversation with women, about women and in celebration of women, sharing successes and opening doors to new opportunity.

The Final Panel:

Miss Katherine Dixon - Current Student (PhD, English/ Medieval and Renaissance Literature, 2017)

Ms Sally Patterson - Current Student (MPhil, Gender Studies, 2019)

Dr Meghana Patel - Alumna (PhD, Clinical Biochemistry, 2008)
