You are invited to attend the AI Salon with Dr Shyam Krishna, followed by Drinks and Dinner, at St Edmund's College on Wednesday 12 June, 2024
Key note speaker: Dr Shyam Krishna
Shyam Krishna is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in public policy at the Alan Turing Institute, specialising in advancing data justice in AI. As an engineer-turned-researcher, through the lens of his interdisciplinary background Shyam explores ethical and social justice-oriented perspectives on emergent digital innovations and the technopolitical ecosystems they inhabit. He has researched on the surveillance and data justice impact resulting from algorithmic and data practices of gig economy, digital identity, and fintech platforms.
Dr Krishna will be joined in conversation by our MSt cohort member Pamela Peter-Agbia, who will explore his latest thinking in this arena.
A Drinks Reception will follow the Salon, after which there will be a 3-Course Dinner in the Dining Hall
Timings for the evening are as follows:
